2013 has definitely been a great year of kickass movies for guys. And, though the year is fast approaching its end, the outpouring of epic films is definitely not. Here are 6 upcoming movies that are shaping up to be must-sees.
Overview: Ray Breslin, who makes a living breaking out of high security prisons, finds himself captive in a cube-like prison of his own design. The twist: he actually becomes a prisoner after being wrongfully convicted. Follow Breslin as he attempts to find out who put him in there and why.
Why You Should See It: This is a new take on old-school action films with Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger doing what they do best–kicking ass and taking names. Does it really matter that you can’t tell what they hell they’re saying?

Thor: The Dark World
Overview: Thor is back and ready to save all Nine Realms once more, this time from the most ancient of all races, the Svartalfheim. However, Thor is faced with a tough decision and forced to make a pivotal sacrifice. What this sacrifice is exactly, well, you’ll just have to watch to find out.
Why You Should See It: With a villain like Malekith played by Christopher Eccleston, there is no way this movie won’t be as awesome as any of the Marvel Studios films. Also, Natalie Portman is in it. ‘Nuff said.

Overview: Leonardo DiCaprio plays Jordan Belfort – a multi-millionaire stockbroker who literally has more money than he knows what to do with until the feds try to break up the party.
Why You Should See It: Babes, money, and that special corruption only Wall Street can bring.

Overview: Bilbo, Gandalf, and the slew of dwarves continue on their journey to get back the gold through barrel-riding, wood elves, and, as always, epic battles. This film will offer our first full bodied look Smaug (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch).
Why You Should See It: We finally get to see that badass dragon in action. If you know anything about The Hobbit, you are aware that the story only gets better from here. With the added bonus of Orlando Bloom joining once again to play Legolas and Peter Jackson’s genius direction, this is sure to be impressive.

Anchorman: The Legend Continues
Overview: Set in the 1980s, Ron and his Channel 4 News Crew are back after several years of hiatus to do what they do best: telling the news with style. This time, instead of being in sunny San Diego, they are recruited to join a 24 hour news channel in New York.
Why You Should See It: If you were a fan of Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, this is sure to bring similar laughs and hilariously awkward social situations, with the added bonus of 80’s kitsch. Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell, and David Koechner are all back for the second installment which, unlike typical comedic sequels, looks to be just as good as the first.

Anchorman: The Legend Continues – Trailer 2
Overview: Jack Ryan, based upon a Tom Clancy character of the same name, uncovers a Russian terrorist plot against the United States and must fight to undermine the scheme before it’s too late.
Why You Should See It: This full-on action film starring Chris Pine will leave you on the edge of your seat and brimming with good ol’ American zeal.
